Before you go out and buy one of these drives with the hope of getting these blistering speeds however, make sure your SATA controller is capable of handling 6Gbps or it’ll end up running at 3Gbps which would mean you’ll only be getting half of the performance the drive can offer. On a performance perspective the Agility 3 lags behind the Vertex 3 quite marginally which on a day to day usage quite unlikely to be noticed unless of course you run synthetic benchmarks.
