The great thing about the Bit88 is that it restores the original dynamics of audio signals without any distortions, which results with greater sound clarity. The looks of the BIT88 isn’t a crowed attracting bombshell, and personally if I hadn’t heard how this thing performs, I wouldn’t have had a second glance at it either. It’s just a plain looking silver box with a few audio connectors at the back. However as the saying goes, looks aren’t everything. And oh boy was I proved right.
The Technology
The technology behind the BIT88 is pretty astounding, and what’s so impressive is that unlike many other sound enhancing units, the BIT88 does not use any kind of phase shifting techniques, which brings out a fake reproduction of sound. The enhancement you receive through the BIT88 is pure, crisp and it brings in greater depth and punch into the audio source.

Well folks, the BIT88 combines two new technologies called “WOWTm”, and TruBass, both which are remarkable audio enhancement technologies developed by SRS Labs, USA. Most high-end audio systems are equipped with these technologies, however they’ll never be offered at $110.
Furthermore a closer inspection of the innards of the BIT88 revealed at the heart of it sits a vacuum tube. Vacuum tube technology something which I know is reserved solely for high-end audio equipment. As I said before the designers of the BIT88 simply wanted the best, so I guess they haven’t settled for anything other than superior technology. Amplification through vacuum tube provides cleaner, natural and crisper amplification than other techniques. No wonder the makers of the BIT88 say “The BIT88 is your only lifetime sound-mate.” What makes me so most attached to the BIT88 is that unlike most amplifiers and equalisers out there, the BIT88 does not require any kind of adjustments in treble, bass or mid ranges.
