Shuttle Launches 23.1” Shelf Signage Solution for Smart Retail

Taipei, Taiwan (May 29, 2019) – Shuttle Inc. (TAIEX: 2405), the solution provider of small form factor computer and face recognition technology, introduced a variety of software and hardware solutions for digital signage, Kiosk, and POS during COMPUTEX. A range of products includes 1-liter Slim DH02U for four 4K UHD displays, 1-liter Slim DH310/DH370 for dual and multiple screens, and a comprehensive AIO lineup with 11.6, 15.6, 19.5 and 23.1-inch sizes. Among them, the 23.1-inch DH230 is a new, integrated shelf signage solution for retail shelves.

In the era of new retail, more and more retail owners are using innovative technology to enhance in-store consumer experience and product exposure. The D230, with its advanced facial imaging and long-structure design, is tailored for shelf integration in the retail environment. Featuring a 23.1″ bar-type display with a height of only 7.5 cm, the platform is easy to integrate into the small space and delivers a more personalized and informative message for shoppers alongside. Backed by PoE, it supports the simultaneous connection of up to five displays, which simplifies cable handing and optimizes the limited space.

Combined with facial recognition intelligence and 2M pixel camera to play optimal videos (pictures and texts also available), the D230 provides customer insights and allow for content triggering on detected age and gender. Together with an exclusive signage APP, it supports simple, flexible control for content and screen management.

The current version of the D230 is designed as standalone, and the server version is scheduled to be available in the second half of 2019. Besides, the other dimensions of panels will be developed based on market demand.
