While they don’t specify, the wake up word is “Hello” and the voice prompts are clear. I was pleasantly surprised how well the voice controlls worked, in fact we found it to be better than working via the remote control offered.
Lamptron should work on some of the command terms however, they most likely have done a direct translation from Chinese which doesn’t always sound right. For example the command “turn on hourly telling” makes the CT625Pro announce the time every hour. Ideally something like “hourly time annoucement on/off” would have been more appropriate. Nevertheless the functionality works as expected and certainly makes this a unique offering to PC enthusiasts.
Physical Buttons
Upon closer inspection, the physical buttons present a mixed experience. The CT625Pro offers traditional button interfaces, providing direct access to all functions. Although immediate and responsive, the buttons feel somewhat cheap when pressed.
Ultimately, each control method serves different scenarios effectively.
