Tecware Phantom RGB Keyboard Review
Performance and Conclusion
In terms of performance, the Outemu Blue switches didn’t disappoint. The responsiveness and feedback offered from the keyboard was just right and for a keyboard that costs less than $60 this is certainly remarkable.
When we first came into looking at this keyboard, honestly we weren’t expecting much. However as time passed and the more we used the keyboard the more we ended up liking it. There’s more pros than cons when evaluating the Phantom.
Conclusion
True there are certain cut backs due to its low price such as a 1 year warranty, less refined software, no USB passthrough port and the overall finesse when it comes to the RGB lighting effects. However for anyone that gave up on the idea of forking out over $100 for a mechanical keyboard, the Tecware Phantom RGB offers just the right solution. When you think about it, most membrane based keyboards from top manufactures cost more than what the Phantom does.
Bottom line is if you ever held back on upgrading to a mechanical keyboard, simply for its price, the Tecware Phantom RGB should be your stepping stone. It will not disappoint and you get some decent RGB effects coupled into the package. While Blue clicky switches aren’t for everyone, Tecware offers Browns and Reds as well to suite your needs.
