Shuttle Launches AI Edge Mini Computer during COMPUTEX 2019
Taipei, Taiwan (May 29, 2019) – Shuttle Inc. (TAIEX: 2405), the leading solution provider of small form factor computer and face recognition technology, launched a range of mini-PCs and a new line of AI edge computing products during COMPUTEX. EN01 series, the featured product on display, is an industrial-grade mini PC with 9cm in width for edge applications and able to operate under industrial wide temperature environments.
The EN01 series is a rugged edge platform particularly for use in digital signage, industrial automation, and visual recognition applications. Based on Intel Apollo Lake and NVIDIA Jetson TX2 processor lineup, the EN01 series provides enhanced performance, speed, and reduced energy consumption. Combined with small size, wide operating temperature, and high-performance computing, the EN01 series enables AI learning-based visual analysis and can integrate 4G/5G technology for automated guided vehicle and driverless transport applications.
At an ultra-compact body of just 9.24 x 5.54 x 9 cm, the EN01 series provides a rich set of connectivity, including 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 2.0, HDMI, GigaLAN, Micro SD reader as well as an M.2 slot for expansion capabilities for M.2 SSD and capture card. To meet diverse applications in IoT, it also supports options for PoE function, 4G LTE module, and more.
