MK6 Bullet Hunter keyboard

Gaming performance and General use

The Outemu switches have a really satisfying click to them when used and the keyboard itself is compact without being overly cramped. Whilst I generally prefer slightly larger keyboards, I have not had any issues in using this one. The key caps have a slightly textured finish to the top of them which prevents slip during typing or gaming but the sides are all a gloss shine which helps to reflect the RGB Lighting from below.

Replacing the caps themselves is a little bit tricky – you have to pull directly up in them using the included tool and watch that you don’t make any scratches on the surface. It is pretty easy once you get the hang of it and the ability to change out the blue Outemu switches for ones that are slightly more resistive for certain keys is a feature that I’m sure some people would be very interested in.

The included software is basic and doesn’t really include any instructions on how to use it. It is relatively intuitive though and does have a few nifty features and I had a few minutes of fun playing around with the various colour schemes and patterns.

The keys are all individually addressable and you can program a surprising amount of patterns into them. My personal favourite is the reactive mode which causes the keys to light up in the colour of your choice when pressed before fading away to black again.

The macro setup is useful for those of you who like scripting macro functions and includes the ability to script delays between key presses, as well as duration and every key can be repurposed to a macro button if needed.

Sadly, the keyboard cannot be controlled using any of the other RGB software you may already have such as AURA Sync or RGB Fusion – so you will have to play around with it to get it to sync up with any other light patterns the rest of your system may be using.
