Performance and Conclusion

As with all our cooler tests, we begin with Prime95 and performing its torture test for 15mins and getting the average results from 3 runs. All coolers tested were running on their stock settings.

Conclusion

While the Performance of the MasterLiquid Pro 240 won’t blow your mind away, it’s still a very solid performer. It’s currently retailing at US$95 on Amazon and price wise it certainly doesn’t get any better than this. The MasterLiquid Pro 240 shares a delicate balance between performance and noise levels. At stock level which we performed the tests on, the kit is barely audible. This is one of the main selling points for liquid cooling.

The MTTF for both fans and pump is quite impressive and couple that with the 5 year warranty Cooler Master offers, they certainly are one step ahead of the game. Cooler Master have put in some innovative and unique technology into the design of the MasterLiquid Pro 240. These certainly seem to have helped in increasing the performance of the unit and top it off with the exceptional build quality of the unit, it’s a win all the way. The blue LED light while not obtrusive, might become a pain for some since you cannot turn it off, so bare this in mind.

Cooler Master have ensured the installation process is a breeze even if you’re a newbie to liquid cooling. At its present price tag of US$95 there’s honestly not much to think about. If you’re looking for a cooler with the right balance of performance and low noise, you simply can’t go wrong with the MasterLiquid Pro 240.
