The Gladiac Ultra comes with the ELSAmovie DVD playback software and an enhanced driver featuring ELSA Advanced Settings and the ELSA WINman Suite. These advance settings will let you play around with the 3D quality and speed. The WINman Suite provides the overclocking tools and let’s you fine tune your monitor refresh rate and resolution. As with the Gladiac GTS, the Gladiac Ultra buyers get the option of selecting three games from the Elsa web site at a reduced price. One title costs $8.99US, two titles cost $15.95US, and three titles cost $19.99US. I really like this method Elsa has adopted, instead of just bundling some useless demos or some collection of junk titles like most other manufactures. So what ya think folks? Yeah…I thought so too. The Gladiac Ultra is a bank robber in the clothes of a speed record holder! (That makes sense?) Well there’s no doubt about it, this card is the fastest consumer video card Technoyard has ever tested, and in our opinion it’s also the video card with the lowest value due to the price factor. If you feel $500 is just peanuts for this level of performance, then there is nothing that is inherently wrong with the ELSA GLADIAC ULTRA that should keep you from buying it.But if you have the money, and are still contemplating about buying it, then hold on with that purchase for the moment. Cause next generation products from ATI and NVIDIA are on the way and they will blow smoke on the current leaders..

So for now, a faithful GeForce2 GTS or a Radeon will be the choice of the masses, with the Elsa Gladiac Ultra and the rest of the Ultra clan reserved for the privileged few.

Though the Elsa Gladiac Ultra is the fastest consumer card we have tested it gets only a 88% rating from us due to it’s high price factor.
