Jaybird JB200-1 Stereo Headset
Bluetooth headsets and headphones are so widespread that it’s actually a buyers’ market. The options are pretty limitless and this creates an even bigger problem for buyers when they want to choose a product. Unfortunately majority of Bluetooth headsets and headphones out in the market do not measure up in terms of sound quality or durability and through experience I can tell you compromising on those two aspects can bring about a horrendous experience.
Mostly due to limitations of Bluetooth technology we have not yet come across a Bluetooth headphone that could compare to a good wired headphone system however we are hoping Jaybird’s new JB200-1 Stereo Headset would change our perceptions to some degree.
The unit Jaybird sent us was their standard 2nd generation headset which retails at US$129.99. There’s also a version that comes bundled with an iPod adapter which retails for US$159.99. If you plan to listen to music stored on your iPod through these headphones then it works out cheaper to get the bundled version than forking out another US$49.99 separately for an iPod adapter.
Lets’ review the technical specifications for the unit before we proceed further.
