Swissbit includes their own software in the VICTORINOX USB drive called “SECURELOCK” for users who wish to partition their USB drives to public access and private access partitions. This software is built into the VICTORINOX drive and even after you format the drive it’ll be there. SECURELOCK comes in handy if you wish to protect your files in the USB drive from unauthorized access.

The partitioning of the drive can be done in 3 modes. Public area only, which means anyone can access the files on the drive simply by attaching it to a USB port. Private area only partitioning means all files can be accessed only by way of a password you supply. The 3rd partition is a combination of the above two. Credit definitely goes to Swissbit for putting all this thought into this product.

You can also make the VICTORINOX USB drive a bootable disk for your Operating system. The SECURELOCK software has a built in feature that simplifies this process for you if you want to create a boot disk.

This seems to be similar to scan disk on Windows. If you find any errors in your VICTORINOX drive run this part of the program to solve any problems in the USB drive.
