While the Chaintech 7VJDA didn’t perform as well as the rest of the crowd, it still has very decent performance. Getting 678ALU and 734 FPU is by no means a low score. However we decided do some mild overclocking just to see what kind of a improvement will be seen. So we increased the FSB rating to 145MHz with the help of some good cooling. Here are the results.

As the SYSmark test scores reveal, the performance of all boards are pretty much the same here. This means that in real performance we really won’t see much difference between these boards in terms of performance.

I must say I was pretty impressed by the performance of the Chaintech 7VJDA so far. Never did I expect it to perform as close to the other boards, considering they’re more sort after boards in the market. While the board is capable of keeping a close score to the rest of the line-up in 3D mark 2001SE, there’s a higher performance drop when it comes to Quake III.
