Introduction

CPU cooling is very serious business, for the stability and the performance of your computer partly depend on how effective the Cooler of your processor is. Manufacturers like Intel sell some of their CPU’s boxed with coolers included. I must admit these coolers coupled with Sanyo Denki fans were a good enough cooling solution for any average user using an Intel CPU. Those using AMD CPU’s always had to opt for third party coolers. But for somebody who wants to get an extra edge in performance through methods such as overclocking these OEM coolers were just not enough. Thus specialized cooler companies started developing specialized solutions for such users. Global Win was once the leader in this arena. Then competition like Alpha tried to take the high-end cooler market away from them. With solutions like PEP 66 Alpha tried to over whelm it’s opposition. Now Global Win is fighting back with the VOS32.

The VOS32 is intended for the AMD K7 CPU (The classic Athlon CPU) and the SECC Slot 1 Intel CPU’s like the Pentium II and Early Pentium III’s. It’s also rated to be suitable for overclocking which is something we will confirm to you at the end of this review when we’ve concluded the tests and you can see the results for yourself.

The first thing that strikes you when you sight this Cooler is that it’s simply ENOMOROUS. But first impressions can often be deceiving. So lets cut the crap and see what this baby can really do.
