ECS P6SSM Motherboard

Looking at the benchmarks I must say the P6SSM requires a great deal of respect. It has been able to perform in par with both other boards in most cases. ECS has certainly done a pretty good job with this board. Certainly the board isn’t capable of replacing the ASUS CUSL 2 by any means; nevertheless as an entry-level board, well it’s totally a different story.

Offering many appealing features such as On-board video, audio, networking and Modem communications, the P6SSM sure is a great entry-level mainboard. Priced at a mere $85 this sure is a superb contender in its category. You cannot expect to achieve ultimate performance from this board, however for a user requiring the very basics of a PC, the P6SSM simply can’t get any better. Overall a job well done by ECS.
