It's back to the Quake III Arena for OpenGL performance benchmarking. We tested the card on, both the Intel and AMD's high-end 1GHz processors, under Windows 2000 and Windows 98 SE. Plenty of benchmarks to go around so sit down and enjoy!

Quake III Arena Benchmarks:

As the scores show, both cards perform equally well on all systems. Though there are ups and downs for both cards and one takes a small lead somewhere, finally they equal out overall. There's a noticeable drop in performance when the cards reach 1280x1024,but even at 1600x1200 both get over 60FPS.
